Why do employees who work in restaurants wear masks all the time?
Due to the current spread of the COVID-19 virus around the world, restaurant workers have a high risk of catching and spreading covid. Each step of their work exposes them, whether preparing food for customers to order, serving food to customers and taking containers from customers to collect and wash. Every step has a risk of exposure to getting infected. Therefore, in order to be socially responsible and protect yourself, staff must wear a mask at all times to prevent infection of service providers from restaurants or customers.

Everyone must come together to come up with ideas and plans to help stop the spread of the virus in our stores. Since the infection is transmitted from person to person through contact, there is an increased risk if:
1.Someone at work has an infection. 2.An infected person came to use the service. 3.Having close contact with someone who has the infection The chance of infection occurring in an air-conditioned or closed shop is easier than outside an open shop.
Some people are infected with COVID-19 but show no symptoms at all. And everyone is at risk of getting infected if they don’t take care of themselves. Wearing a mask to cover your mouth and nose to protect both staff and restaurant guests. Business owners need to care about and protect the health of their employees. Having to choose a mask that is effective and of good quality will reduce the risk. The suitable mask is either a Surgical Mask or a Protective Mask depending on the purpose. Maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet where possible is also essential. Also the following precautions:
• Clean your hands every time you come in close contact with another person. • Always wash your hands when delivering or delivering food. • In the shop, there must be alcohol gel for service users. • Limit the number of people to work according to the size of the area. • If using tissues, wash your hands every time. • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. • Avoid touching sick people. • If you are sick, stay at home. and notify the store manager immediately • Avoid high exposure areas. • Wash your hands every time. • If the area is frequently touched, wear gloves. • Take off your clothes and wash them as soon as you get home.
